The present invention relates to a method for constructing a gas dome having a secondary level plate in a membrane type LNG carrier. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the method for constructing the gas dome, which precisely adjusts the secondary level plate, welded at a lower part of a gas dome body when the gas dome is constructed in a hold in the membrane type LNG carrier, so as to have a step with a neighboring insulator layer within an allowable range and then welds the plate. In the present invention which provides the method for constructing the gas dome having the secondary level plate in the membrane type LNG carrier, a method for welding the secondary level plate at the lower part of the gas dome body includes: a step of installing four level adjustment devices at a lower part of a hull; a step of connecting respective two level adjustment devices among the four level adjustment devices to each other via a horizontal support member to support a lower part of the secondary level plate; a step of lifting or dropping the horizontal support member with the supported level adjustment devices to adjust a welding position of the secondary level plate stacked thereon according to an allowable step condition; and a step of welding the top of the secondary level plate along a lower circumference of the gas dome body by using a welding device. |
