a housing to be worn behind the ear of a hearing device wearer, said housing having a first housing part, a second housing part, and a connection connecting said first and second housing parts to one another; a loudspeaker disposed in said second housing part and a battery disposed in said first housing part; wherein at least one housing part or an attenuation element provided in said connection between said first and second housing parts is formed of an elastic material.
