According to the present invention, a foot pedal switch connected to a faucet valve opening and closing device by a wire and opening the faucet valve opening and closing device when the wire is pulled, comprises: a main body having an opened upper side, having a holding protrusion formed to protrude from the top of the front side thereof, and having a space therein; guide holes formed into long holes bored in both sides of the rear side of the main body; a foot pedal covering the opened upper side of the main body, having shaft pins formed to protrude from both sides of the rear side thereof and inserted into the guide holes of the main body, and rotated on the shaft pins depending on an external pushing pressure; and an actuating member coupled to a fixing member, which is installed in the internal space of the main body, by a pin, having a hole formed in the bottom thereof and inserted with the wire, and opening the faucet valve opening and closing device when pulling the wire by the pushing pressure due to the rotation of the foot pedal, wherein the foot pedal moves to the front side of the main body through the shaft pins moving along the guide holes depending on an external pushing operation after rotated, is held on the lower side of the holding protrusion formed on the top of the front side of the main body, and is fixed to be held on the main body, so the wire can be maintained to be pulled. |
