PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of reducing a blur of an image even when using assisting liquid.SOLUTION: A printing device has a head and a control unit. The head discharges imaging liquid for forming an image and assisting liquid for assisting image formation by the imaging liquid to a printing medium. The control unit controls the head to execute a first operation and a second operation. In the first operation, imaging liquid is discharged to a first area in the printing medium. In the second operation, the assisting liquid is discharged to a second area different from the first area in the printing medium. In addition, the control unit controls the head so that the second operation is executed in an anterior pass and the first operation is executed in a posterior pass. |
