<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lash adjuster which can prevent a component assembled into a body from falling and is easily handled.SOLUTION: A female member 23 is freely slidably inserted into a cylindrical body 21 having a bottom wall 22, a female screw 27 is disposed on an inner circumference of a large diameter hole part 26a formed on the female screw member 23 and a male screw 29 formed on an outer circumference of a male screw member 28 is screw-engaged to the female screw 27. A torsional coil spring 33 is assembled between the female screw member 23 and the male screw member 28 and a torsional elastic force in the direction in which the female screw member 23 and the male screw member 28 are extended from each other is applied. A first circumferential groove 51 is disposed on an outer diameter surface of a sliding part 24 which is guided by sliding on a body 21 inner diameter surface of the female screw member 23 and an engagement member 52 is stored in a diameter shrinkage state in the first circumferential groove 51. A second circumferential groove 53 is disposed on an upper edge part inner circumference of the body 21, when a first circumferential groove 51 is opposed to the second circumferential groove 53, diameter of the engagement member 52 is enlarged and the engagement member 52 locks the female screw member 23 as the fitting which spreads over the stopper groove 53 and the first circumferential groove 51.</p> |
