<p>According to the present application, disclosed is a golf ball composition which includes: a matrix formed from a thermosetting polymer composition; and discrete particles of cross-linked rubber that is dispersed in the matrix. According to a first embodiment of the present invention, the discrete particles are formed from a cross-linked rubber composition having Shore D hardness of 65 or more. According to a second embodiment of the present invention, the discrete particles are formed from a cross-linked rubber composition having Shore C hardness of 40 or less. According to a third embodiment of the present invention, the discrete particles are formed from a cross-linked rubber composition including a peroxide initiator and a coagent of 50 phr or more.</p> |
