PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller and a drive control method such that vibrations along respective axes are suppressed by driving a table which supports a workpiece in two crossing axial directions by motors provided for each axis, and drive control of each axis is simple.SOLUTION: A numerical controller and a drive control method perform control to drive a table which supports a workpiece in an X-axial direction and a Y-axial direction which cross each other by an X-axial motor 32 and a Y-axial motor 42 provided for each axis. Low-pass filters 28a and 29a have, as a time constant T1, the reciprocal number of a frequency of vibrations generated in the X-axial direction. Low-pass filters 28b and 29b have, as a time constant T2, the reciprocal number of a frequency of vibrations generated in the Y-axial direction. A speed command signal Vx of the X-axial motor 32 is passed through the low-pass filters 28a and 28b to be smoothed, and a speed command signal Vy of the Y-axial motor 42 is passed through the low-pass filters 29a and 29b to be smoothed. |
