PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay an optical cable efficiently at a low cost.SOLUTION: An optical cable traction device 1 includes a pair of ball rollers 8, 8 for conveying an optical cable 7 while holding therebetween, and a traction mechanism 5 including a power transmission mechanism 10 for transmitting torque to the pair of ball rollers 8, 8. A dedicated attachment 24 is attached to the power transmission mechanism 10, and the rotary teeth 23a of an external apparatus, i.e., an electric drill 23, is attached to the dedicated attachment 24. Rotation of the electric drill 23 is transmitted to the power transmission mechanism 10, and the pair of ball rollers 8, 8 are rotated via drive shafts 9a, 9b thus hauling the optical cable 7 while holding therebetween. |
