La présente invention consiste en de nouveaux polyuréthanes associatifs du type uréthanes fabriqués à partir de polyalkylène glycol, de polyisocyanates et de cardanol éventuellement oxyéthylé. Elle concerne aussi l'utilisation de ces polyuréthane comme agents épaississants pour formulations aqueuses.
