PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of power supply efficiency by increasing allowable range of positional deviation of a power receiving coil with respect to a power supply coil while facilitating mounting of the power receiving coil onto a vehicle.SOLUTION: A power supply apparatus 100 for supplying the power to a vehicle 130 having a power receiving coil 153a by utilizing the electromagnetic force has a power supply coil 103a that supplies the power to power receiving coil 153a being faced thereto. The power supply coil 103a has a generally identical configuration to that of the power receiving coil 153a, and a first length which is a right and left length of the vehicle 130 is larger than the second length which is a front and rear length of the vehicle 130.
