PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of a subject, the trackability of a dynamic body, and the like.SOLUTION: An optical finder that can be mounted on an interchangeable-lens camera body comprises: a real image type finder optical system 301 having an objective lens group 330 that can perform variable power; a stepping motor 305 driving the objective lens group 330 in an optical axis direction; and a control circuit for controlling the drive of the stepping motor 305, in accordance with the detection results of PI306. The control circuit controls the drive of the stepping motor 305 in response to the focal length of a focal length variable power lens when the focal length variable power lens (interchangeable lens) is mounted on the camera body, and displays at least a photographing image frame on an EVF (Electronic View Finder) panel 307. |
