PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which achieves good luminous efficiency without using rare metal as a luminescence material.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element comprises: a first electrode, a second electrode and layers which are formed between the first electrode and the second electrode and contain organic compounds. The layers containing the organic compounds have a luminescent layer containing at least a first organic compound and a second organic compound, in which the first organic compound is a material having an electron transport property and the second organic compound is a material having a hole transport property. The second organic compound has a triarylamine skeleton and at least one among three aryl groups of the triarylamine is a group containing a p-biphenyl skeleton. The light-emitting element emits emission of light from an excited complex formed by the first organic compound and the second organic compound. |
