PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device that is able to make a voice call and transmit and receive a protection and alarm signal in a train radio system by one transceiver, and that can shorten a time necessary to transmit the protection and alarm signal after operation by a user.SOLUTION: A radio device comprises a radio communication unit, an input unit, a determination unit, and a control unit. The control unit instructs the radio communication unit to prepare transmission of a first signal on the basis of prescribed input operation at the input unit. The radio communication unit starts preparation for transmission of the first signal before the completion of determination by the determination unit on the basis of the instruction by the control unit. |
