<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person to efficiently browse a material such as an image or document whose longitudinal and lateral sizes are large at a terminal without depending on his or her recollection or visual inspection.SOLUTION: An output device 33 displays a part of a stored material on a screen. An input device 32 can detect the positions of the two fingers with which the screen is touched. A scroll control part 314 stores the position of the material displayed on the screen in a predetermined storage region in response to a hold operation of fixing the finger to a fixed position on the screen in a predetermined time or more by a touch with the first finger. Also, the scroll control part 314 scrolls the material displayed on the screen to the position of the stored material in response to the release of the second finger from the screen during the holding operation by the touch with the first finger and the touch with the second finger, and continuously displays the material displayed on the screen in response to the release of the first finger from the screen.</p> |
