PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate, from an image produced by a camera mounted on a mobile terminal, a background image to be removed by offsetting camera movement, making it possible to accurately extract a subject image by removing the background image.SOLUTION: A camera unit 11 is mounted on a mobile terminal, photographs a background in some space, and photographs the same space including a subject. A camera movement measurement unit 12 measures the movement of the camera unit 11 and outputs sensor information. A background model generation unit 13 generates a wide-range background image by linking background images, generates a background model by combining the background image and the sensor information, and accumulates the generated background model in a background model accumulation unit 14. A background model processing unit 15 cuts out, when an image including the subject is photographed, a background image part roughly corresponding to the photographed region and processes it in accordance with the movement of the camera unit 11. A subject image extraction unit 16 calculates a difference between the image including the subject and the background image part corresponding thereto and extracts the subject image. |
