PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blowing device that can blow air from an outlet of an air duct in a state where unevenness in wind speed is reduced in a direction along a longitudinal direction of a long object structure, and in a state where an increase in pressure loss is suppressed; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An air blowing device includes: an air blower 50 that sends air; an inlet 52 that takes in the air sent from the air blower 50; an outlet 53 that is arranged in a state of facing a part in a longitudinal direction of a corona discharger 4 to which the air taken in from the inlet 52 is to be blown, and blows the air to flow along a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction; and an air duct 51 that includes a main body part having a passage space 54a formed to connect the inlet 52 with the outlet 53 to flow the air, in which a plurality of flow dividing plates 61 are arranged in the passage space 54a of the main body part of the air duct 51 along the longitudinal direction B of the corona discharger 4. |
