PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier capable of drying a process object, such as an R-T-B based permanent magnet requiring drying, accommodated in a cylindrical barrel with a simple arrangement.SOLUTION: A dryer includes fixation means for fixing a cylindrical barrel accommodating a process object outside a rotary table rotating around the center axis along the vertical direction in the circumferential direction so that a side face of the cylindrical barrel faces toward the center of the rotary table. The drier is configured such that air radially blowing from the center of the rotary table dries the process object accommodated in the cylindrical barrel.
