<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration transmission to a housing during a dewatering operation by a seal member for connecting an upper frame body and an outer tub.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a housing 1; an upper frame body 48 provided at an upper part of the housing 1; a laundry input port 74 formed at the upper frame body 48; an outer lid 49 for openably/closably covering the input port 74; an outer tub 3 including an inner tub 4 for accommodating laundries and supported by the housing 1 in a vibration-proof manner; an opening 72 facing the input port 74 and provided at the outer tub 3; and a seal member 71 for connecting the input port 74 and the opening 72 and making an air passage. The seal member 71 is an elastic member having an elongation and contraction property including a bellows shape having a valley-folded part 26 formed in a spiral shape. In the valley-folded part 26, a spiral rotation direction extending upward from below is made to be an opposite direction from a dewatering rotation direction of the inner tub 4; thus, the seal member is made to act as a vibration-proof device, vibration of the outer tub at the time of dewatering operation is damped efficiently, and the vibration transmission to the housing can be suppressed.</p> |
