PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the driving force generated from an actuator which generates driving force by deformation of the body portion due to application of a voltage, or the like.SOLUTION: In a method of evaluating the driving force generated from an actuator which generates driving force by deformation of the body portion when power is supplied from a power source, an elastic member 2 is arranged tightly to the surface of the actuator 1 crossing the deformation direction of the body portion of the actuator 1, the elastic member 2 is deformed together with the body portion by driving the actuator 1, the amount of deformation of the elastic member 2 is measured in non-contact, and then the driving force generated from the actuator 1 is determined from the amount of deformation of the elastic member 2 and the measurement position, based on the relationship between the load of the elastic member 2 and the deflection. |
