PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gas containing moisture from flowing reversely from a reformer to an accessory for operating a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell stack 2; a reformer 3 for reforming hydrogen-rich fuel gas from raw material gas; a water pump 16 for supplying water to be used for reforming reaction to the reformer 3; an air blower 20 for supplying air that is oxidant gas to be used for power generation to the fuel cell stack 2; a combustor 4 for mixing and combusting air exhausted from the fuel cell stack 2 and fuel gas exhausted from the fuel cell stack 2; and a switching valve 24 disposed in a cathode air supply flow passage 54 communicating the air blower 20 and the fuel cell stack 2. The switching valve 24 is configured to be closed when pressure at a downstream side of the switching valve 24 is increased in a flow of air pumped from the air blower 20. |
