PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell with improved conversion efficiency and reduced cost.SOLUTION: A crystal silicon solar cell is formed by using one electrical conduction type single crystal silicon substrate 1. The substrate 1 has a pyramidal fine uneven structure formed on almost the whole area of a surface on a light incident side. The fine uneven structure is composed of a plurality of uneven parts and includes 90% or more of polygonal pyramid shape structures having five or more sides extending from an apex.
