PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester which allows the easy visual confirmation of crops, and also allows the quick getting-on/off for a worker.SOLUTION: In a root vegetable harvester, a harvesting part which transfers root crops of a farm field rearward while extracting them is arranged at one side of a self-propulsive traveling machine body, on the other hand, a placing part for accommodating and placing the harvested root crops in an accommodation vessel is arranged at the other side of the traveling machine body, and a relay transfer part for relaying and transferring the harvested root crops is arranged between the harvesting part and the placing part. The placing part comprises an accommodation vessel accepting body which accepts the accommodation vessel by arranging it in the vicinity of the end edge of relay transfer part, a first-half part placing body which is formed while being extended frontward from the accommodation vessel accepting body; and a second-half part placing body which is formed while being extended rearward from the accommodation vessel accepting body. A mounting space for allowing an auxiliary worker to board thereon is formed on the traveling machine body which is located at a rear side of the relay transfer part being the inside of the second-half part placing body. |
