PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule endoscope device and a fuel cell capable of generating electric power even when oxygen and a large amount of water are not supplied.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 1 includes: a cathode part 2 containing silver oxide for performing reduction reaction with water; an anode part 3 having a catalyst for activating oxidation reaction of sugar or alcohol; a film member 4 having both electronic insulation and ion conductivity, disposed between the anode part 3 and the cathode part 2; and a housing 5 that accommodates the cathode part 2, the anode part 3, and the film member 4 and from which at least a part of the anode part 3 is exposed outside.
