PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device capable of extending a focal distance of light radiated from light-emitting elements and increasing irradiance even in a device in which a plurality of light-emitting elements are mounted on one substrate and a lens is provided so as to cover the plurality of light-emitting elements, respectively.SOLUTION: The light irradiation device comprises: a substrate 10A including an opening 12 on a top face 11a; light-emitting elements 20 disposed in the opening 12; a translucent member 30 encapsulating the light-emitting elements 20 and including a first protrusion 30a which protrudes in a normal direction of the top face 11a for converging light radiated from the light-emitting elements 20; and a lens member 16 which is disposed so as to cover the translucent member 30. Light radiated from the light-emitting elements 20 is radiated while being converged towards the lens member 16 by the translucent member 30 and further converged by the lens member 16. Thus, a focal distance of light radiated from the light-emitting elements 20 can be extended and irradiance can be increased. |
