PURPOSE:To prevent a cushioning body forming raw material from leaking through a stay inserting part by sealing the periphery of the stay inserting part by a method wherein the inner face of a skin material surrounding the stay inserting part is pressed against the inner face of a molding tool by means of a sealing part provided on the outer periphery of a stay part at the foam molding of a cushioning body. CONSTITUTION:First, under the state that some portion of an insert 32 is internally installed within a skin material 30 by inserting the stay part 32a of the insert 32 through the insertion hole 31 of the skin material 30, both the skin material 30 and insert 32 are arranged in a molding tool 28. Secondly, a cushioning body forming raw material 36 is poured through the opening of the skin material into the skin material 30. Thirdly, both ends 33a and 33b of the opening are overlapped each other and then the tool is closed. By closing the tool, the skin material surrounding the stay inserting part is pressed against the inner face of the molding tool 28 by a sealing part 34 so as to be brought into close contact with the sealing part 34 under the highly dense state. Accordingly, the slight gap between the inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole 31 and the outer peripheral surface of the stay part 32a is clogged by the compressive deformation of a foam. |
