<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device capable of executing a multi-screen synthesizing process on a client side even when a partial loss or a delay occurs during the transmission of multiple lengths of encoded stream information held in a compressed state on a server side.SOLUTION: Provided is a video processing device comprising a synthesis unit for synthesizing a plurality of encoded streams before the streams are decoded and detecting a partial loss in the information of the plurality of encoded streams, and an alternative information supply unit for supplying, upon detection of the partial loss by the synthesis unit, alternative information to be substituted for the partial loss to the synthesis unit. The synthesis unit replaces a partially lost portion in the information of the plurality of encoded streams with the alternative information before synthesizing the streams.</p> |
