<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of optimizing input while considering an instantaneous restriction in the case of using a DMC.SOLUTION: A parameter that affects combustion noise is used as an input of a DMC logic so as to calculate a target value of the parameter. When a determination is made that the target value belongs to the outside a boundary of a boundary convex hull model of the combustion noise, the target value is changed to a value of the nearest element that is the nearest to the target value among elements existing in the boundary of the boundary convex hull model.</p> |
