<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel efficiency of a hybrid vehicle having a power generation driving mode.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 10 includes an engine 11 and a motor generator 12 as power sources, and includes a following distance detector 25 to detect a following distance between a preceding vehicle and a driver's own vehicle. A power generation amount is limited depending on the following distance, in a power generation driving mode of driving the motor generator 12 while transmitting power of the engine 11 to a driving wheel. Output torque of an engine drive system is decreased depending on the limited power generation amount.</p> |
