<p>A spherical active carbon rod device used for water purification, said device comprising a housing which is cylindrical and which is provided with a hollow cavity; a water inlet and a water outlet are arranged on the two end parts of the housing, respectively; a membrane filter or cotton filter is arranged at the positions corresponding to the water inlet and the water outlet inside the interior cavity of the housing; the inside of the internal cavity between the two membrane filter and cotton filter positions is filled with at least one stage of a carbon layer of spherical active carbon having different adsorption pore sizes. Since the manufacturing technique of the spherical active carbon allows for controlling the adsorption pore size and the adsorption peak of the carbon is narrow, substances of particular molecular masses can be targeted and removed, achieving the objective of filtering out harmful substances and retaining beneficial substances. Furthermore, using multistage adsorption for filtering effectively filters out of water substances harmful to the human body, and completely purifies the water such that after purification, the water meets drinking water standards.</p> |
