Provided is an optical transceiver, comprising: a first optical transceiver connected to a first optical line; a second optical transceiver connected to a second optical line; and an optical line controller for monitoring whether an error has occurred in at least one of the first optical line and the second optical line, on the basis of a receive signal received from at least one of the first optical line connected to the first optical transceiver and the second optical line connected to the second optical transceiver, and for controlling a signal transceiving path so that a communication is conducted via the optical line where no error exists according to the result of the monitoring.
