An image capturing apparatus capable of executing a plurality of image blurring correction modes, comprising: a correction unit configured to select an image blurring correction mode from among the plurality of image blurring correction modes in accordance with an image capturing situation and execute the selected image blurring correction mode; and
a display unit configured to have a plurality of display items respectively associated with the plurality of image blurring correction modes, for selecting a display item corresponding to the image blurring correction mode under execution by the correction unit from among the plurality of display items, and display the selected displayed item on a display screen.
