Provided are an image processing device, imaging device, program, and image processing method whereby focusing control using a split image can be performed by an intuitive operation. A display image used in focus confirmation and obtained by synthesizing first and second images based on image signals outputted from an imaging element having first and second pixel groups, the first and second images being formed by pupil division of a subject picture passed through first and second regions of an imaging lens, is displayed by a display unit in which a touch panel is provided to a surface of a display region (S403), performance of an operation for selecting the first image or the second image on the display image via the touch panel is detected (S407), and when performance of a movement operation in an intersecting direction intersecting with a division direction via the touch panel is detected, and the movement operation is detected subsequent to detection of the selection operation, control is performed for moving a focusing lens in the optical axis direction of the focusing lens in response to the movement operation (S415, S417, S419). |
