PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set with which the contents of information signals, such as the indication of call termination displayed on one display, can be confirmed in both the states of closing and opening folding structure. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set 1 has the folding structure in which 1st and 2nd casings 2 and 3 are mutually foldable at a hinge part 4. In this case, an inner surface side display screen 7a is formed on the 2nd casing 3, while being positioned on an inner surface 3a which is to be covered with the other casing when this folding structure is folded, and a 1st outer surface side display screen is formed while positioned on an outer surface which is to be exposed to the outside. Then, a signal source is provided for transmitting the information signals to the 2nd casing 3, and a reflection mirror or a transmissive reflection mirror so constituted as to be provided for displaying the information signals from the signal source onto the inner surface side display screen 7a and the 1st outer surface side display screen.
