<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a dispersion liquid which is capable of forming, at normal temperature, a refractive index modulation thin film that is capable of precisely controlling a refractive index and has a large area; and a method for producing an optical base having a refractive index modulation thin film using this dispersion liquid at normal temperature. A dispersion liquid for forming a refractive index modulation thin film having a refractive index of 1.31-1.75, which is characterized by containing high-refractive-index nanoparticles having an average particle diameter of 2-9 nm as measured by a transmission electron microscope, silica nanoparticles having an average particle diameter of 1-9 nm as measured by a transmission electron microscope, and a solvent. A method for producing an optical base having a refractive index modulation thin film that is formed using this dispersion liquid for forming a refractive index modulation thin film at normal temperature.</p> |
