The hydraulic pump controlling device for construction equipment according to the present invention includes a hydraulic pump controller (100) controlling first and second hydraulic pumps (P1, P2) by generating first and second pump commands (Pcmd1, Pcmd2) to generate pump torque corresponding to a demand value; and a torque controlling unit (200) generating and providing the first and second revised pump commands (Pcmd11, Pcmd 22) in which the first and second pump commands (Pcm1, Pcm2) are revised by a torque inclination map (220), which is generated by the hydraulic pump controller (100) with the reflection of dynamic characteristics of an engine, to the first and second hydraulic pumps (P1, P2).
