PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply and a semiconductor integrated circuit device, capable of improving power efficiency with reduced power consumption.SOLUTION: The power supply includes: a linear regulator 1 including an output stage amplifier 12; a current sense circuit 3, disposed in parallel to the output stage amplifier with a configuration corresponding to the output stage amplifier 12, for detecting an output current of the linear regulator 1; and a switching regulator 2 that operates according to an output signal Vso of the current sense circuit 3. The linear regulator and the switching regulator operate in coordination in order to generate an output voltage Vo to an output node OUT. |
