PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which has both an electrostatic sensor and a piezoelectric sensor and yet does not suffer from increased thickness, altered optical properties, and increased cost.SOLUTION: A touch panel 40 is equipped with force measurement means which uses a piezoelectric body 31 and position sensing means of an electrostatic capacitance type. The force measurement means uses paired electrodes 13, 12 positioned to sandwich the piezoelectric body 31. The position sensing means uses a first electrode 11 and a second electrode 12. One or more upper-surface electrodes 16 are provided on the upper-surface side of the piezoelectric body and one or more lower-surface electrodes 17 are provided on the lower surface side of the piezoelectric body. Out of the paired electrodes used for force measurement, one is the lower-surface electrode, and at least one of the second electrodes used for position sensing is the upper-surface electrode. |
