PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a screw type conveyor which extremely suppresses thickness reduction caused by heavy abrasion due to friction with a conveying object in a screw type conveyor where a solid material such as waste wood and the like as the conveying object is pressed and conveyed with circling screw blades.SOLUTION: Ceramic coating is carried out at portions such as a fixing part between a main shaft 2a and a flight 2b in a screw reclaimer 2, a conveying surface pressing a conveying object and the like where abrasion is heavy by friction with the conveying object. Build-up welding is carried out at a portion in a state of heavy abrasion and intense thickness reduction and then the ceramic coating is carried out on the surface of the build-up welding.
