<p>A backlight drive circuit, comprising a power source module and a constant current drive chip (30). The power source module comprises a first controllable switch (Q1). An adjustable load is connected between the first controllable switch (Q1) and a grounding end of the backlight drive circuit, and the adjustable load comprises a switching module which can switch different resistance values. A mode switching signal of the backlight drive circuit is coupled to a control end of the switching module. One end of the adjustable load connected to the first controllable switch (Q1) is coupled to an overcurrent protection port of the constant current drive chip (30). Also disclosed are a drive method for the backlight drive circuit and a liquid crystal display device. The adjustable load is adjusted to different resistance values by the switching module in the backlight drive circuit so that reliable overcurrent protection can be obtained in 2D mode and 3D mode.</p> |
