PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of damage of ceramic members due to rapid temperature rise at the time of joining the ceramic members.SOLUTION: In a method for joining ceramic members, a brazing filler metal 2 is applied to a joint surface 7 of a member 1 to be joined, formed of a ceramic member, and while rotating the member 1 to be joined, the joint surface 7 is irradiated by a high power density heat source 8 to heat and melt the brazing filler metal 2 to join the molten brazing filler metal 2 to the member 1 to be joined. The temperature of a part 9 to be irradiated by the high power density heat source 8 and the temperature of an adjacent part 12 immediately before the joint surface 7 passes through the part 9 to be irradiated are measured respectively, and an irradiation condition of the high power density heat source 8 is adjusted so that the maximum temperature difference between the part 9 to be irradiated and the adjacent part 12 is not higher than a damage occurrence temperature. |
