PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a carbon fiber thermoplastic resin composite material in which the thermoplastic resin is uniformly impregnated into carbon fibers, in the production method of the carbon fiber thermoplastic resin composite material in which the thermoplastic resin including polypropylene as a main component is molten and impregnated into the carbon fibers.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber thermoplastic resin composite material in which a thermoplastic resin is uniformly impregnated into carbon fibers can be produced by compounding a predetermined amount of a reactive monomer and a predetermined amount of a peroxide with the thermoplastic resin including polypropylene as a main component.
