<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device which can prevent an engine start which is not intended by a user when the user gets away from a vehicle during the feed of electricity from a battery to the outside.SOLUTION: When a charge remaining amount of a battery is lowered below a first prescribed value during the feed of electricity from the battery to the outside by an electricity feeding mechanism, a vehicle control device starts an engine without receiving an instruction by a user in a first case that a remaining amount of gasoline exceeds a preset amount, and the existence of the user in a prescribed range of the surroundings of a vehicle or in the vehicle is detected on the basis of a detection result of an electronic key by the vehicle, and the vehicle control device performs such control that the engine is not started until receiving the instruction by the user in a second case that the remaining amount of the gasoline exceeds the preset amount, and the existence of the user in the prescribed range of the surroundings of the vehicle or in the vehicle is not detected on the basis of the detection result of the electronic key by the vehicle.</p> |
