PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device which discharges an ink in a tank more effectively compared to a conventional liquid discharge device even if the tank is provided with agitation means.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a head which discharges a liquid to a recording medium; and a container which stores the liquid. The liquid discharge device pumps the liquid in the container to the head through a passage. The liquid discharge device includes an agitation section and a discharge section. The agitation section is provided at an area in the container which is located below an end part of the passage and agitates the liquid in the container. The discharge section is provided at a position lower than the agitation section in the container for discharging the liquid in the container to the exterior of the container. |
