PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition reducing the aromatic content which is a precursor substance of a pollutant while maintaining the octane number and distillation characteristics, without impairing engine performances such as exhaust gas.SOLUTION: There is provided a gasoline composition containing one or more kind of cracked gasoline fraction of 60.0 to 95.0 vol.% and one or more kind of gasoline base material of 5.0 to 40.0 vol.%, having the aromatic content of 35.0 vol.% or less and the aromatic content having 10 or more carbon atoms of 8.0 vol.% or less, and satisfying A represented by the following formula. A=Total Olefin/[((E150-E100)/100)×(C9-Aromatics)]≥4.6, where Total Olefin represents the olefin content in the gasoline composition (vol.%), E150 represents a distillation percentage till the distillation temperature of 150°C (vol.%), E100 represents the distillation percentage till the distillation temperature of 100°C (vol.%), C9-Aromatics represents the content of aromatics having 9 or less carbon atoms in the gasoline composition (vol.%). |
