<p>The splint (1) is shaped such that the pre-defined location is defined by three contact points or -surfaces. The splint is formed with a recess such that the gap (3) of a setting tool (4) is partially accommodated. The orientation and position of the setting tool is defined relative to the splint through a form-fitting interaction of the splints, where the shape of the setting tool is also defined. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a setting unit for applying a bracket on tooth surfaces of teeth of a lower or upper jaw; and (2) a method for applying a bracket on tooth surfaces of teeth of a lower or upper jaw.</p> |
