The present invention relates to a pedestrian safety detection device for a vehicle and, more specifically, to a pedestrian safety detection device for a vehicle, which comprises a movement detecting sensor (10) selectively formed on the front surface or the rear surface of a vehicle (1); an attachment unit (11), which is formed at the lower end portion so that the movement detecting sensor can be attached and detached; a flickering unit (20) which is formed at an emergency light of the vehicle (1) and flickers by detection of the movement detecting sensor (10); and a control unit (30), which is formed inside the vehicle (1), is connected to a battery (b), is wired to the movement detecting sensor (10) and the flickering unit (20) and controls the movement detecting sensor (10) and the flickering unit (20). When the pedestrian safety detection device detects a moving object (t) approaching a parked or stopped vehicle (1), the flickering unit (30) sends a flickering signal. Therefore, a driver coming from the opposite direction identifies the moving object by the flickering signal, so the driver slows down the vehicle and does defensive driving. Therefore, accidents can be prevented. |
