Provided are a wireless sensor network (WSN) security method with security attack detection and a security system. A WSN security system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes at least one packet sniffer which sniffs the packet of WSN and a monitoring server which receives a packet sniffed from the packet sniffer and detects a security attack on the WSN. Thereby, the load of a network and the battery power consumption of a node can be reduced without generating an additional control packet like an existing security management protocol. Also, security detection can be performed in a high rank application layer without changing an existing wireless sensor network protocol stack, thereby improving compatibility.
