PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining device that can accurately monitor output of a laser beam. SOLUTION: The laser machining device includes: a laser oscillator for outputting a laser beam; a branching mirror for branching a part of the laser beam to take out the part of the laser beam; a photo detector for detecting the laser beam taken out by the branching device; an operation amplifier for amplifying an electric signal having a level corresponding to the output of the laser beam caused by the photo detector and outputting the electric signal; an A/D converter for subjecting the output signal of the operation amplifier to analog-digital conversion and outputting the signal; and a control device for storing the output value of the A/D converter in the state where a laser beam is not output, as a default value W1 (step S2) and calculating the difference between an output value W2 of the A/D converter at each time and the default value W1, as a monitoring value Wm (step S5).
