<p>Disclosed is a system of move operation elimination with bypass Multiple Instantiation Table (MIT) logic. A processing system has a first data structure that stores physical register values, a second data structure stores pointers, each referencing an element of the first data structure, and a third data structure has move elimination sets, each move elimination set having bits representing logical registers. The system has processing logic that performs a data manipulation operation, by causing an element of the second data structure to reference an element of the first data structure, the logic also reflects the results of two or more data manipulation operations by performing a single update of the third data structure. The update of the third data structure may done by creating a move elimination set, modifying a move elimination set or reclaiming a move elimination set. Also the update may be based on pre-computing dependencies of data manipulation operations.</p> |
