Drive assembly for a spinning preparation machine

The assembly has a drive i.e. twin-shaft motor, with a first shaft portion and a second shaft portion. Functional units (9) are arranged spatially along transport direction (T) of multiple drafting devices (3) of a spinning preparation machine (2) to transport and guide fiber tapes (5) during operation of the spinning preparation machine. Drafting rollers (14, 15, 24) of the first shaft portion are drivingly connected with the functional units of the second shaft portion.
